prayers of whispers-- solitaire-- echoes of your voice, aware of smoky eyes a side-show stare... illusions-- disillusions--where? now you see it. now you don't. "Come hither." when I know you won't. Fun house mirrors mocking me candied apples full of seed dizzy spin upon trapeze no hands to meet me in the air... I need to stop the ferris wheel... I need to think. I need to feel. I want the touch of something real. I've stayed too long now, at the fair... |

I get this out of it...Love is like a circus...adrenaline pumping from excitement, the dizziness for exhilaration...the mocking, teasing...the apple as apromise...the dissapointment of the seeds a lie... the uncertainty of the mid-air flight...the circling of the wheel never catching up to a true connection...the rejection of a touch...wanting something real...thanks, you have me thinking. |
