Hark thou fair maiden
I have come hither to defend thy honor
And to protect thee from the Raven

With my sword and shield I will defend thee
And keep thee safe from harm
And when 'tis over, 'twill be thee and me

For love knoweth not the bonds of time
It stretcheth beyond death and life
And filleth the cup like the finest of wine

For I have always known thee
From that first sight above
And now again, we shall be free
To know what we knew. . .before love

the raven is but a purple fly bitten barnicle
for thou art the most noble of them all

Sven, You are one fickle knight!! 'cause I just read you and you were laying your sword down, but that's okay..cause you write the purrriest love poems around, and Sven always wins my heart anyway..

Just beautiful!          Marcy

Oh great knight, tis a noble  verse indeed.
I will be your squire, carry your lance and shield, screen calls from your wenches, feed your stallion, if the pays good. This way i can meet the pretty maidens. just kidding! very noble indeed. Ron

Lady Victoria, I thank thee my lady for thy response. . . thou hast made me smile. . . thank you. . .

Lady Sandra, rare indeed. . . we shouldst all find love like this. . .

Lady Marcy, thank you for thy response. . . and I am indeed not fickle. . . I am just choosy. . .

Lady Tara, surely before love is where we all should be. . . thank you. . .

Squire Ron, I am not in need of a Squire yet, as I have no wenches waiting, no stallion to feed and no wages to pay thee. . . but I will keep thy name handy if I doth have need for thee later. . .    Thanks to thee my friend. . .

Before love, I was lonely
After love, I was alone.
In love, I was whole.

Ye ken ye don't play fair Sir Sven.  This damsel is in distress none of her past knights did this or are likely too......
Ye ken tis too beautiful for this lady's fluttering heart......

Sir Sven, as always this is magical.
When I read the words....
For I have always known thee
From that first sight above
....it brought back many special memories from the special man in my life, thank you for that.

Listening to every heart

Aye, Sire, dear, brave, heart...
before love came thy honor
and honor bound, thy trust
to trust in thy love...

so sip thee from this,
thy cup of honeyed mead
and tread ye softly
among the silence of this love

for I have always known ye
to be thee...
