The Coming Storm I stared outside my window, From safe within my shroud. A warm wind is blowing, Making dead leaves dance, Beneath the stormy clouds. A rolling thunder echoes, Sending tremors up and down my spine. Branches rattle ghostly, And the wind begins to whine. A flash of lightning bursting Into the open night, Silhouettes are now dancing, A vision to incite, A face reflected, for a moment, Upon my window pane. Your eyes stare back inviting, From beyond the coming rain. A whisper calls me softly, Although there is no sound, As a warm wind blows, Making dead leaves dance, Beneath the stormy clouds |

Ron, Let me welcome you to Passions, this is the place to open your heart. This is a very moving poem, the hurt inside is deep. Cheers. Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love (Daniel J D) |

Ron, Wow, what a powerful and eerie entrance you have made here. The imagery is haunting in this one. Very nice writing. Welcome to our Passions family. I think you will fit right in. a very easy, wonderful read and I felt a little warmth within the storm, as the dead leaves danced around. Wonderful. Star |

RonFox~ Welcome to the Passions family. I found this to be tenderly reminiscent of memories worth keeping ... 'A whisper calls me softly' Lovely thought. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
