I linger on
These empty days
Not knowing how
To change these ways

The sounds I heard
When once we spoke
The dreams we had
A heart now broke

Continues now
To crowd my mind
No will to look
No need to find

You were all
I thought I’d need
You were the love
My heart did feed

And now with thoughts
Of you and he
All I have left
Are memories
Of us.

Oh, so sad. I guess you know I understand this emotion. Very nicely done.
Thanks for reading my poem, too.

Spiked

This was an excellent write. Such heart-felt words.  You expressed this elegantly and it made my heart go out to you.  If this is actually true, I hope you feel better soon.  I know broken hearts are so hard to mend.
Again, excellently penned.

Very well written; I can feel the pain in every word   I hope things are better.
