Moments Before Together, minutes short of our breath expiring -- what would you say to me. Would there be regret, would our last moments find us looking back -- or taking the quiet journey, searching each other's eyes. Could you tell me that we've lived a marvelous dream -- speaking the words, ''I love you.'' And knowing beyond ourselves -- there was no other love. Should we be found alone in those moments before... There would be no regrets of anything past. While softly stroking your cheek in the quiet that surrounds us... I would tell you again and again with my eyes how much I have lived and loved with you With my lips, I would give to you my last breath... and in that moment... our souls would rise together. Earthly love would be the backdrop of our eternity. Soul binding love... ever after, we share. Snow&Robert 10/23/00 ~ek~ |
