Fare thee well my lady of the night, thy moon dost no longer shine in my sky and daybreak is soon to come Long did I enjoy your companionship making my night seem less dark because of thy moon like a lighthouse on the shore For a short time I did stay with thee thou took me in to thine heart and bid me stay even when it was shown that our love was not to be Then another entered your beam of light, you welcomed him in, and to a degree I did also, saying that reality was everything, fantasy had no place But soon did the fantasy become reality and thou didst not have time for me in thy life thou didst turn thy back on me and I wept I went the way of the flagellant, torturing mineself the whips and the tears marking my flesh and soul until that day when I could take no more Realizing that thou hast indeed removed thyself from me, I called out thy name and spake to thee, "No longer shall I be tortured by thy memory" So now I will wait not for thee to return my lady, I who was once thy poet, painter, and Knight, I'll not beg thee to remain, leave me here in the dark For it was here in darkness that I found thee, and there it was that our hearts were joined for a time, now I have shown thee the way to sun, and thou art happy again And so my lady of the night, queen of my heart, I bid thee and thy new knight a fond farewell as you go off together, leaving me in this private hell ---------------------------------------------------------------- That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |

Nay sir Knight, do not bid me tell of the love I've given thee was meant for it's time to be and wish me not Godspeed to hell for I once loved thee, very well... Ah Sven, I too, hear this, the sting... Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?...KRJ |

Oh Sven, this was so painful to read. I as like Tara and Karilea, also felt the sting in this. Your real lady of the night, Shall never leave thee. She shall spend her life, Cherishing and adoring thee. Her love for you, Runs fierce, wild and free. She longs to hold you and sing, As together you soar through the heavens, Flying without wings. As always, Juls |

you are not a bootless rude bellied pig for thou art a king in thine eyes and he is but a mangled ill-breeding maggot-pie! OFF WITH HIS HEAD A poem is never finished, only abandoned. - Paul Valery (1871-1945) |

It would seem that you have a lot of pain. This poem shows it. Sometimes, we have to let go for our own good. I had a Knight once, I can relate passion is life. . . |

Sven I can feel your pain hon, but as a reader and your friend. I'm so sorry as you know. But as stated above perhaps with these purgers it is time to move on?....... We'll manage to face whatever or the the nothings life throws our way. It is our duty anyways (big picture). *hugs* Isis *Good will towards all beings is the highest religion* ~Isis~Goddess~~Sovereign of the Spirit~ |

sven, this is a very heartfelt and your emotions poured forth, love does not always end even when our heart says for it to so therefore hurt stays deeply within, this was a very passionate poem, if only words could change the heart, but most of the time they can't only the way love reacts to one another can make the difference. |
