Almost Persuaded Perhaps I was almost persuaded it was true that someone could actually love and care for me too. perhaps happiness was closing in trying to see if it could be my friend. perhaps her sweet caress was washing away my loneliness. perhaps she was too good to be true and she could never figure out how to like a guy like you. perhaps she gave you a good honest chance and you failed to fulfill her yearning for sweet romance. perhaps her kisses are saved for some other and she really doesn't want to give me another. perhaps her admiration needs time to grow you were moving way to fast and she wants to go slow. perhaps I was almost persuaded I knew how to love those thoughts now shattered by you my love. Sea I am experiencing some doubts and fears..I am trying to relax and go with the flow...let friendship or love go where it may...I would appreciated some reassurance from her side.. Thank you Nate I will be hanging around to see where this love goes...so many things I enjoy about her....James |

James, this is a great poem, as for Mina, hold on, you know how rare the real ones are. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, and I'm sure that given the chance things will be alright in the end. James-- wonderful poem. i'm certainly no expert when it comes to love. in fact i've had my share like everyone else of heart break etc...but i have found the true love of my life as well. and some- times things are worth hanging on a little longer for, or even backing off a bit to see where it might lead. this poem was filled with longing and sadness but i also could see just how much you truly do love this woman...so no i don't think you were almost "persuaded" that you know how to love...you DO.
