In the space between moments

0 posted 2000-10-22 10:50 PM

A tranquil bathing
of your eyes
falls delicately upon me
filling my breath
with drops of moonlight
that cling within your vision.

Smoky blue showers
from a cashmere twilight
cascade
pulling the warmth of starlight
through every shiver
of my swooning skin.

The tingle of warm lips
descending toward my own
catch me in the moment...
I close my eyes...and am lost...
knowing only your scent
and your touch
as they fill hollows deep within.

Whispers from the sky
cocoon in threads of light
around our fusing bodies
spinning us together
as one.

Beautiful work, Krista! Such very sweet writing, I especially loved that second verse, "every shiver of my swooning skin" is a great piece of imagery, I love it! Great poem, I love those kisses, they still fill me with wonder and melt my heart..
