your smile sets my heart to singing
yet i have never seen your face
your strong hugs keep me safe and warm
though i have yet to feel your embrace

your kisses thrill me to the core
yet your lips i endless seek
your words gently caress my soul
though i have yet to hear you speak

how can it be...this love i've found-
not the fantasy that it seems
as i close my eyes and drift away
to where you hold me in my dreams

Sometimes the best things are what we dream of. That way we are never disappointed.
This was very very good.

In your dreams I shall be
In my dreams you are there
In dreams we both shall see
Dreams are real, this I swear

What a beautiful poem this is, and about one of my favorite subjects.....dreaming! Where would we be if we could not dream?
Wonderful writing here, Vicky!

vlraynes,
Dreams oh they are our companions of the night. We need to cherish the good ones, and vanish the bad ones. Loved it so much, well done.

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love
