Have you ever thought What little words can do? How they can bring a smile Or make someone feel blue How they can paint a picture Beyond our wildest dreams Or let off all our anger When in our words we scream With wafting of aromas Or billowing white clouds Or just describing people That are standing in the crowds You can scramble them together Describe the perfect scene Explain a situation That to others is not seen You can bring a stream to life Describe a rainbow from the fall Add some words like towering And describe the trees so tall Describe a bird that's flying Or nestled with her young Or how hard you laughed when You saw the giraffes tongue I think they're more than simple And can be more than complex Words they are a miracle That allow our minds to flex |

And sometimes - they are just not enough... great thoughts in this Rebecca. Enjoyed the read. ![]() "He looked across the silky surface of the Severn... it was a famously difficult river with fierce tides..." From Jack Maggs |

WhtDove, How appropriate to read this wonder at Passions. You are an excellent poet, so accomplished. Perfect just perfect! "You can bring a stream to life Describe a rainbow from the fall Add some words like towering And describe the trees so tall" Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love (Daniel J D) |

W Dove* Excellent...especially being here and reading and feeling the emotions that they draw out....makes the power of mere words even stronger and more recognized. This was very good work, and held a message that many of us need to pay more attention to~ |

"You can scramble them together Describe the perfect scene Explain a situation That to others is not seen" Wonderful Rebecca! Where would we be indeed? I can honestly say, I've never seen them used so beautifully as within these walls, and you are a shining example of this. Loved this! ![]() Best wishes, /Kit |
