The picture frames stand empty Where once your image graced My sheets no longer bear your scent All visible marks of you erased Caught between love and hate I walk the thin red line When does the healing begin? I’m still waiting for that sign Some memories make me smile But most just make me cry I’ve already walked away But how do I say goodbye? |

Don't worry about saying good-bye. Just walk away and hold your head up. Some things are easier left to the silent bids of farewell. Heartwrenching write from you this early morn, hope you are alright. |

Wow! You have expressed a feeling that I know so very well. I wish I had the answer for you, and for me. "The heart and soul have no illusion of boundries when friendship is the quest" ~ My Angel. |

Mark, I need the goodbye for closure. It's hard to move on when your heart won't let go. EagleOne, isn't it funny how in the beginning of a relationship, we think we know all the answers but we're left with questions at the end? Marge and Brian, thank you for the hug. Soft arms are exactly what I need. Take me as I am or watch me as I go |

Anyone who would say goodby to such a lovely young woman would have to be nuts! This is very nice, very well written, and sincere, honest, I truly enjoyed it! "When red-haired girls scamper like roses over the rain-green grass, and the sun drips honey."" Laurie Lee Kathleen |

Hi Tara, When does the healing begin? A frequently asked question....with sort of an "answerless reply" if that is indeed a word! Hollow response..... Hey, have you started on your other poem yet? You know the one.....lol.... Tara, I am asking the same question. It is so hard for the heart to give up. Hugs, and hope things feel better soon. Catalinamoon |

Julie,no, I haven't yet started on that poem. With 4 children underfoot, it's hard to write. Victoria, life is full of processes for our growth. Some are painful, others joyous. In the case of a love affair, you get both. Joy in the beginning, pain at the end. Charisma, that's what I'm praying for. Enough time to get past the hurt and on with my life. Exactly how long does it take? Irish Rose, he's not nuts. I'm actually the one who ended it but it doesn't make saying goodbye any easier. Catalinamoon, thank you for reading.< !signature--> Take me as I am or watch me as I go [This message has been edited by Tara Simms (edited 10-21-2000).] |
