Wow! What a treat! I'm making a copy quickly, before they send this to some other forum. Man alive, we're just sitting here listening to Abbey Road, and talking about you, and it seems you like a bunch of our favorite songs/authors. Yum! Music! All right! |

Paula - If I found one title that caught your eye - I did good Sunny- Thanks- I edited the post while the time limit still unexpired - tried to make a poem of sorts of it - but perhaps the attribution is too distracting - you think? Dale- I've been lucky - not experienced a 'kick' yet - but thank you Rosemary - I suppose they can move it if they like - I'd like to think it a poem of sorts - ~G~ thank you |

Well, I'm not sure what's been changed from your original version Wilfred, but I read this as incredibly flowing and beautiful free verse. I've read it a few times now, and you've done an amazing job compiling these titles into these lovely sentiments. This is a difficult task, and one you've crafted wonderfully. Best wishes, /Kit |

Kit - You're much too kind - I threw together about 33 titles - the 1st and foremost that came to mind from memory - then sorted and reorganized - threw 2 away as not fitting - added filler words - the editing was the correction of artist/lyracist graciously provided by earlier responses. Thank you Kethry- ~G~ I guess lyrics would sound lyrical - Thanks Gentle Spirit- Even the idea is not mine - Temptress did it first - Thanks |

this is fantastic, what a move of lyrical feeling swept through my memories with this one. < !signature--> "When red-haired girls scamper like roses over the rain-green grass, and the sun drips honey."" Laurie Lee Kathleen [This message has been edited by Irish Rose (edited 10-21-2000).] |

The truth and beauty in our lives can always be found in a song somewhere and you have given so many beautiful memories to me as I read the titles of some of my all time favorite songs. Excellent write my friend and "KING" of poetic mastery. Let's strike a deal since there are two crowns now. We each keep one and just shine each others when it calls for it. LOL....I know, I know, I am getting my polishing cloth now as you have more than earned it. Who knows I might even shine your shoes for this one. Superb penning and when music is involved, I am there my friend. |
