They say love is
a two way street
so why is it i'm traveling down
this road all alone
without you beside me
without you reminding me of
the love that once binded us
They say love will heal all pain
how come my heart is sinking in dispair
and all I have is me to care.
They say love is worth having
how come I've had it and felt it numb
my very soul.
Could they have been mistaken
when they made cupid,
and somehow he shot a vessel
of turmoil for me.

ya know...I know exactly what your saying here Rose...
sometimes I swear cupid is shooting blanks
or darts of pain ...
beautiful sad poem...
youve expressed your emotions sincerely
take care

RoseBud~
Cupid ain't stupid -
He's saving the good stuff for you !
And when it finds it's mark ...
you'll be singing his praises !

A neat image of Cupid's arrow missing it's mark, hon.
He'll be back with passionate arrows ... promise.

*Hugs* to you !

Love is out there and somewhere another arrow has had the same affect on someone else but only because the arrow that matches his is being carried around by you and you two just need to keep out in the open so you can find each other.  Wonderful representation of cupid and the ways of love.

Cupid is busy all over the earth,
knowing that you are really worth,
true love, tenderness and some loving care,
knowing how much love that you have to share,
so I bet that he would be sure and don't want it to blow,
when he find these precious treasure then he will shoot his arrow.
so wait and one another day you will truly see,
that your sweet love will walk besides thee.
