The Shores of Alone

Crumpled up and tossed aside,
feel like discarded trash.
Love and passion burning hot,
now nothing left but ash.

My dream became my nightmare
and still I don't know why.
My hopes and dreams were broken
in just a moments time.

If truth be known, my dreaming
has brought me to this hell.
Cause no one dreams it with me,
thus it is doomed to fail.

So there it is, my ending,
no happy ever after,
just a fairy tale gone wrong,
my love lies here in tatters..

You must never stop dreaming as there is that dream out there that will be shared with someone of the same heart as you.  I know you are hurting not but you will find that special someone some day.

CatalinaMoon~

Sometimes even when your heart is aching
it shatters not alone
For somewhere out there another feels
they are also breaking on their own

So if two hearts be shattered
Scattered in the night
They might just meet upon the shore
of heartache tonight

If one picks up a piece of yours
found laying on heartbreak's shore
And seeks you out to return it
and softly knocks at your door

Then you will know the piece you found
laying among yours in the sand
Belongs to that person's heart
yet you held it lovingly in your hand

As you each exchange the pieces
you found that you've been holding
You just may find the perfect fit
of new love is unfolding

*Hope you don't mind the inspirational thoughts your piece gave me.
It just floated in on the tide.

I would wish for you a high tide to float another heart your way.

I just have to thank everyone again for the support through this trying time. And Marge, I love that poem, thanks for doing that, it gives me that little bit of hope.
You are all great, I don't know if I could have made it this week without your help.

This is so eloquent, so well written, the emotions just flow naturally off the page...
it sounds like you dream true dreams and my wish for you is that you will find a soul to match the wonderful one that is YOU!!!

This poem was very good. I felt your emotions as if it was coming from me.

cat, your dreams can also release you, as i've said before, Dreams come true, but first believe in yourself, tehn believe in your dreams, and then your dreams will believe in you.

Don't ever let your dream die Sandra,
Sometimes in the hurting you will find a strength you thought you never had, I hope you find that. This poem was very good.
