Halloween

The whirlinds blow and the werewolves howl as the evening shadows fall
For this is the night called Halloween when Satan comes to call!
The graveyards moan as the undead rise to escape their grisly tombs.
While she-devils writhe in agony spewing demons from fetid wombs.
The cauldrons bubble while the witches chant, casting their evil spells
to summon forth the monstrous things straight from the depths of Hell!
Beelzebub...his demons...their bloodlust and savage thirst
sending batwigs aloft into the night to find the damned and cursed.

The church bells toll each hour past on this All Hallows Eve
each ring is like a death knell...lost soul have no reprieve!
The devil walks, his eyes aglow, the fires of Hell burn bright
and strong men touched by his icy grip are frozen by their fright.

The witching hour is drawing near and as he finishes up his rounds
the silvery moon turns blood red as he takes the souls he's found!
The clock strikes twelve while brave
men pray: the night is crystal black;
The devil roars his raucous laugh and hisses, "I'll be back!"

Good people, best you heed those words and always remember, too,
that when the demon hunts it's prey, that prey just might be you!
So lock your doors and say your prayers when this night appears once more;
for when you hear a knock, knock, knocking...it could be satan at your door!!

~Just passing through with a visit, thought I woudl bring a poem along!  Hope everyone is doing well, I have missed you all!~
