(Minor rewrite of a fantasy written last year) I am drenched Wet to the core Your words like humid heat Upon my mind and heart Visions of your love Your unabashed desire Matching mine so freely given Further fuel the raging fire Into a blast that matches Fatman or Little Boy's result Standing tall, Watching the seductive twinkle In your eyes Trembling, sweating, reaching Out to you As clasping fingers Merge hands tracing thighs' Sinews straining to desire Music strings Vibrating to passion's touch Heard in two hearts Now recumbent on the shore Toes teasing toes Hips meshed with hips Shadows in the full moon's Gentle light Roiling as a single shape Exchanging kisses Sparking flints on steel Steaming frothy waves Trying to cool The unquenchable pair Two voices clearing Different notes Create harmonics Above the reach of either Sung words subside to sighs Music of breaths Yielding to breaths Coruscating Like sparklers Desires are met, realized Zones redden, swell, flush Yield in symphonic notes Created by Full orchestras Playing a fevered score So the unresolved need Becomes fulfilled Ache falls prey To soaking rain Nourishing Two parched souls Two alien worlds Fall in orbit coinciding Dancing as music yields Wash through arroyos Waking dormant life Life erupts from cracked soil Strumming the pain with soft fingers Duet a balm bringing peace Whispered prayers that rose Heavenward Returned a bounteous reward It is your name Played it again And Again ~You have to have a dream so you can get up in the morning. ~ Billy Wilder |

'deer- LOL - I DO love your subtlety - I think she's getting my message - my feeling are not purely intellectual - the good part is it is built on a great friendship Temptress- I'm glad you recognized how much I appreciate her in all her facets - Thank you Martie- When I am fantasizing - this kind of though almost always becomes a part of my dreaming - I'm so glad you liked it Thank you Janet M- Making it come true - may take a lifetime - but I find it so powerful - My efforts will never abate - I'm glad you like the way I wrote it. Thank you Liz- As love and passion have many facets - Writing to them in their infinite variety becomes easier - I can only hope she loves my words as much as I love her. ~You have to have a dream so you can get up in the morning. ~ Billy Wilder |

You have, with this poem, earned the title of Wilfred the Great. Excellent and passionate work. Keth. "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |

Kethry - I'm not certain I want any such titles bestowed - I played "king of the hill" on snow piles too many times as a kid growing up in Buffalo's winters. but - thank you just the same |
