Do you ever miss me anymore have you given a thought in my direction........... wondered how I am Wished for nothing else but the sound of my voice the smile that comes......... from the sound of my laughter Do you ever ache inside wanting to see the brown of my eyes and how they would sparkle when I'd look at you Wished for those happy times now locked in your heart............ those memories, that you want so badly to have more of Do you ever wake up from a dream of me ..............and swear............. with all your heart it was real, it was real Wished for the day we said good-bye to never have come........ to never have been allowed to be for those words to never have been spoken.......... I do. -SEA- |

I could really relate to the sentiment of this poem, especially the lines: "Do you ever wake up from a dream of me ..............and swear............. with all your heart it was real, it was real" I have , I have.... |

This reminds me of a poem I wrote called "Do You..." The verse was... Do you ever think of me? Do you ever cry? Am I just a memory? Or has that memory died? Anyhow, I still think of the two people with brown eyes that I tried to give my heart too. This is very touching..Well done!  With a little piece of tomorrow, You'll have to kiss yesterday goodbye. Because today won't last forever, And the past will only make you cry. |
