The sleepless nights shall cease As we here at Passions kneel To pray for a little angel May your stress Martie appease 'Make me a channel of your peace Where there is sadness Let me bring you joy Where there is injury only love. It is in giving that we receive And it is in pardoning That we enter your kingdom Lord pardon us for our mistakes As we join hands in prayer Together we ask you Lord To bring back health and joy To Martie's little baby' Amen. Daniel--thank you for this beautiful prayer...I must tell you that the baby is not mine...but the baby of a dear friend...I met her on the day she was born weighing 2 1/2 pounds and was profoundly moved when I touched her fragile life with my big finger...I wrote a poem about it called I Pray for Life...well, she developed an infection, she is only two weeks old, and fear held everyone close to her, so I reposted my poem and Mark said the prayer that escalated to such a wonderful Amen...she is better now, thank you...for your thoughts and your sweet heart. |
