Two sheets of lined paper folded in four making a journey from here to your door But now that it's posted don't know how to feel elated or frightened it doesn't seem real And when you reply that is, if you do what will you say? will you love me too? But had i not sent it i would never know that's why when i wrote it i knew it must go Put it in my bag and walked down the road the same stone-lined pathway where the river had flowed And this time i looked down and saw pools of rain in the moment of stillness saw i had much to gain Was this the last push? of this i've no doubt no more encouragement needed from without So i carried on walking got to the post box and then as i posted i remembered the rocks so smooth and so timeless at least, on my scale if they last forever why not post my mail So much is happening in this universe my feelings are tiny let out in this verse And yet i believed that my problems are great now i look around see it was a mistake Although on my scale my troubles cause pain against those of others they're nothing but rain http://www.geocities.com/i_love_you_so_much_c/ |

Wonderful ponderings in this verse Johnbus! Sometimes we may feel our actions and thoughts are small compared to the grand scheme of things, however they affect us to a huge degree, as they make up "our" worlds. I like the perspective you've taken on this ... nicely expressed! Best wishes, /Kit |
