there are memories of you viewed through lashes eyes down-cast so as not to be seen the view through dark filamented hairs of an enigma when distance was plenty – words few but softly, spoken softly and I could feel in blues, the breeze of quiet comfort the feathered sweep of greens –predominant earth of the strength-like tree and sometimes sometimes exhilarated fear from true unknowing of quick flashes feral yellow and then blink to a portrait in hues of gray, cloudless rain drip drip dripping fighting vibrant, washing away the sweet blush of wonder through lashes, still unknown locked away with cause from curtailed need and hidden wants [This message has been edited by Satiate (edited 10-17-2000).] |

...Kaboom. Talk about an instant of time captured in a century of words. Eloquent, definitely. Peaceful... only in part. Beautifully spoken - Absolutely. In blues, the breeze of your mind blows me away. This is such an intricate piece Nic, bellowing out ache and pain inside words mixed with perfectly...with a sigh. Positively a BOL here m'friend. Postively. C |

Satiate~ This exquisite piece is full of beauty mixed with longing ... 'blink to a portrait in hues of gray, cloudless rain drip drip driping fighting vibrant, washing away the sweet blush of wonder' So lovely. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

There was a vision which accompanied this, I am sure of it; it can be best likened to an unassuming breeze which parted, if only for an instant, the soft gauze curtain which shrouds the author's soul ... Um .. or maybe that was just me. A sweet breath of poetry, at any rate, Nicole. I was glad to see your byline today... --Me Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers. |

Chris: Okay, what do you want? Seriously though, thank you very much. BOL backatcha m'friend. Marge: you always say the nicest things! Thank you Ahh, K: Many hugs, hon... DA: Thank you much, dear Robert: Your comment is a poem in itself, thank you for such a lovely reply. Corazon: What a compliment! Thank you LR: Always nice to see you, thank you Sir. Irish Rose: (love that, btw!) Thank you Mr. Yeats: I'm very pleased you enjoyed. Thank you very much. Lady Kess: thanks for catching my 'oops' Your comments are so artfully crafted, I fear my poem doesn't do this one justice. |
