Lost In The Haze A swirl of memories from long ago Dance around me, engulfing my thoughts Shadows of things that happened Hunt me down, haunting my heart I want to run away, the pain overwhelming But I am too lost in the haze to find my way I struggle to find that elusive escape Only discovering more phantoms waiting To refresh the anguish that numbs me So here I stand.. quiet.. unable to reach out Unable to share this burden Knowing it is my only release Now I stand here.. my hands over my ears My eyes closed…my heart sealed Holding on the best I can to reality Holding on to dimming faith that I will find my way [This message has been edited by rosepetals25 (edited 09-24-2000).] |

Rosepetals25 We all get lost in the haze sometimes. I'm currently lost myself. I believe the key is to retrace your steps and you will be able to walk out the same way you walked in. But if a bird has eaten your popcorn, then it could be a problem  Always forge on, you'll eventually come out on the other side. do not stand and wait for someone to find you.Excellent poem by the way.< !signature--> Garfield [This message has been edited by ggrn3 (edited 09-24-2000).] |

ggrn3 - First I have to apologize..lol. I posted the poem and had to go offline.. when I came back.. I saw all the mistakes I made..hehe. Thank you for stopping in. I'm glad you liked it. I will find my way out..unfortunately I am used to dealing with these shadows and phantoms. |
