Snow comes round these parts Per four years falls an inch I never made use of truck To pull my car with wench We could host Olympics Four years we’d light the fire Ski down the rolling hills Stearing clear of barbed wire Sloshing through cruddy, icky, Muddy, tar tasting snow Don’t eat it if it's yellow Hehe, I really had to go Angels don’t take showers I don’t think that’s e’er been said But I just can’t believe Snow is dandruff off their head “I’m dreaming of … White Christmas …every Christmas card I write” My greetings to friends up north Their chatter is my delight Then, sigh, no snow days e’er When it snows we’re unprepared Ever see a suth’ner run From light flurries we are scared Slushies, flurries, blizzards Are desserts in my town If they ever came to be In Mexico I’ll be found! LOL When I lived in Ga. and they called for snow, oh man the store shelves got wiped out. LOL and growing up in Illinois, there snow was NOTHING. LOL Thanks for the laugh walt-a-roo!! |
