Hold Me

Hold me just for one night.
Let me know that all is right.
That love is not defined by pain.
That loneliness will not remain.
Sex is not that which I crave.
To satisfy my needs to save.
These thoughts that run inside my head
Consuming all that I contend
Will give me solace from this need
Relief from that which makes me bleed
So hold me for just this one night
Let me know that all is right.
That I can love without the pain
And happiness will then remain.
With me.

If you need to be held, please hold the other passionately and show that you really care. All too often it is one way

Yep,Just that warm embrace can mean more than a night filled with sex. The human touch(hugs) can make anyone feel better.

How true and touching and heartfelt this is, not to mention how close it hits to home as well.  Wonderfully expressed and great writing as well.  Excellent.

Strive for higher levels, if they seem out of reach... Grow, and they will get closer.

Well how about one more? Or as many more that you need? You say this so well...the need for a tender touch far outweighs the momentary pleasure of a sexual encounter...

Don't close your eyes to the possibilities
