Fixed eyes, silenced Voices Bodies in rigid attention Soldiers prepared to follow me in combat Battle lines are traced by my hands Positions taken Defined Formations Under my command, discipline veil Is what separates us From complete hysteria Each one of us knows That the order of our arrays Shortly, will give place To the desperate screams of mouths Flowing blood Swords and axes will cut men to the middle But, at this time, we faced An enemy still more insidious and cruel The Silence < !signature--> "Only in the dreams , is that man can truly be free It was always thus and always thus will be" Prof. Keating Dead Poets Society [This message has been edited by Lone Ranger (edited 04-30-2000).] |

LoneRanger~ Very vividly told. The silence before the battle is foreboding. Very well told. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
