I am I am an ocean. Although emotions flow in and out of me, I remain essentially the same: Sweet and loving. I am a tree. Branches reaching out to people, Reaching for acceptance and love. Reaching for understanding. I am a book. Many will not look beyond the front cover, But for those who do there awaits a magic. The magic of love, unconditional. I am a piece of paper. I have been stepped on and crumpled up, But my friends ironed out the creases of pain. I wait to be full of the writings of life. I am a star. I burst myself trying to shine my light Into the lives of others. My light will live on in the Heavens when I die. I am me. I am a unique creation, Crafted to perfection by the Lord. I will ever stand proud. "Poetry is the true expression of my soul, it is my ultimate means of communication. It is my rainbow of delight." |

Pen Of Passion-I am proud of who I am and I aspire to be greater yet. I have been downtrodden before and I have no intention of letting other people put me down derisively again. I don't say everyone must love me nor must I love everyone....but I do wish that everyone in the world could share a mutual respect. That's what I love about Passions-the love and caring extended to all that I have found here. Aimster-thanks for your compliment! I am by no means wonderful, I am just me...and very happy to be. I'd love to call you "friend" too. Sven-It is thanks to my friend that I found myself...she turned my life around. I am not going to let it be turned back again by anybody. Lol....me confident? I wish! Like I said, I am just trying to be the best me I can be. I would hope that is what those around me would expect and appreciate! Thank you for your responses! Sorry for rambling! Bravo my friend. This was very well written and gives us a wonderful idea of who you are. I wrote an I am poem for a challenge once. It began with..."I am an Oxymoron" Which is true for each of us methinks. We are all such a combination of different things and that is so wonderful. Congrats on a job well done. |
