TEXAS (it's all big)

promise you'll try the finger thing!

Its time to put on my teachers hat
And teach you all the world is flat
You talk of meeting and sharing faces
I wish I could be in all those places

Nan and Doreen Peri playing scrabble
Not on the puter like I like to dabble
I put all of my money on Nanners to win
But to play in person puts on a new spin

I’ve heard stories of overseas meetings
To the logic of this rant that be cheating
But still when you live in a state so big
You cant run on over for someone you dig

Put your left fist up in the air
Palm facing you your skin's so fair
Point your index finger up to the sky
It's for nose picking I aint gonna lie

Now lay your thumb in a horizontal line
If you’ve done this all you’re doing quite fine
Now see there is Texas right there in your hand
I live high on your ring finger near your wedding band

Don't eat green bananas no more."
The sick little monkey groaned and said,
"But that's what I 1-2 the 3-4."

Oh, walt... this is great! I just had to sing your title... but by the end of your poem, the tune had changed to "Deep in the heart of Texas!" *G*

Walt, This is so cool and creative, glad to know now where you live in Texas. Now when anyone mentions Texas I will look to my palm and know I have a clue.

YAWP!

Lived in Texas from 72-99, and still never saw the entire state..basically everything north of I-10.

Great job Walt....Ah wonder how many other states we can give the finger to.... ROTFLMAO

So cute!! I'm on my way..now tell me is there a BIG wedding ring around the water tower in your town? How will I recognize it? I'm from Michigan..Stick out your hand, palm facing away from you..your thumb is on the right...I come from about 1/2 an inch up from your wrist on the lower left side...

Okay, Walt, now take that index finger and point it down at your toes....that's where I will be coming from; it's only a 6-hr. drive, LOL!     Great poem, fellow Texan!

Hey this is great Walt   I love it!!

Yes, I am here, but I am dead, not alive,
my body goes on, my spirit has died
and I though alive, feel dead inside.
