You Walk , I’ll Run

How do you not know me?
I am who stands in front of you

Your eyes see with no depth
I see clearly of you

Our vows were to be in union
You walk alone

I am the one you pledged your
soul safe keeping

You were to treasure the heart
that beat’s for you endlessly

Melodiously was our tune to be
but soured you have made its note

What is your aim?
Mine was to reach lover’s tabernacle

You appear to be seeking flight
I ask why?

You continuously deny your position
I am left in wait

Your love I declare false
You can’t fight the truth

You want to walk
Well I want to run

Cerenity-1, You are the first poem for me to venture out of dark passions, I was hoping to see the world with some light.
I have waited like this, your poem is very heartfelt and to the bone.
If this is from experience my heart to you,
It this is from thoughts my heart to you again for that. And do run.

Joel.

I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.

Hi Netswan,
Thank you so much for your reply.

Hi Joel the wolf,
This carry's light for I can see clearly what is in front of me, to experience it I don't recommend, but I will take flight at just the right moment in time, for now there must be a lesson in all of this somewere. Thank you for your kind words.

Cerenity,
Wow!  I can empathize with you.  I know how it feels to be in this position.  You guys are all so incredible.  My friend TerryW told me that you were good, and I believe every word he said.  I love it!

Bitter sweet sadness here....It's  sad when you realize that you want different things, and I think you expressed it perfectly with you walk, I'll run

Cerenity,

I was married for ten years and my husband always threatened to 'walk'.  I told him that when I was ready I would 'run' and that's what I did ten years ago.

Good luck to you.
