~ ~ ~ Sweet silence; perhaps the better choice; smooth quiet lull in echoed hall, of muted yearning voice. ~ ~ ~ Compassion; the tender way of mine; I sing to thee a melody - of love, line after line. ~ ~ ~ Sweet insight; that draws you near to me; wisdom to know the time to grow - our love was meant to be. ~ ~ ~ The spiritual wind that holds survivors aloft, plants the seeds from which bloom new hope ... If the kids would just quit knocking or our door we could maybe visit this place together. If I could paint a portrait, of this life in which I've led, and somehow sketch a story, of the visions in my head, I'd start out with a canvas, stretched tightly in a frame, and in the bottom corner, I'd leave room to sign my name.
