The night was one of ebony, With Luna cloaked, face unrevealed, On darkened land, no man could see, Could only hear, afar bell pealed. Single rider felt wind's cold breath, Whilst rode alone, on highway stone, In the distance, rang toll of death, Charon beckoned, the horseman lone, No turning back, down darkened path, In blackened void, rode rider tall, While up ahead, lay unknown wrath, As forged ahead, unto death's call. What dangers lie, what dire portend, Doth matter not, as to death wend. [This message has been edited by Mike (edited 04-18-2000).] |

Wow, Mike, if this was not so dark and sad - I would say your writing is scintillating. Oh, heck, it is scintillatiing. Thanks Teresa King |

Dark and fearful road your riding down in this one, Mike...you bring such mood into your writing...every word captures it. Well done! |
