Unclipped Wings ~*Marge Tindal*~ An angel gets her wings from the man she'll love till she dies. He not only helps her put them on, he shows her how to fly. Spread your wings, little angel. Fly higher than the stars. I'll be right here waiting, watching from afar. Wings unfurled. Angel flying high. Fly, little angel, return to me by and by. An angel gets her wings, from the man who's really smart. Fly, little angel, fly straight to this heart. For my friend, Brian who says "Every Woman is a beautiful angel in her own way, just most men are fools and don't see their wings, or they try to clip them so they can't fly anymore." ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
