Come to me ---------- In the night, searching for peace, As I try hard, as I try again, In the night, looking for sleep, As I seek much, as I seek again. Oh! How I miss you my dear, All that is left is fear, To you whom I belonged so clear, You remain so far yet so near. I feel the bed, Alas! It is empty, I fight my tears, I weep all the same, Cold bed with lonely covers, Shadows from a single street light. The ghosts of the night, Have triggered this fight, What have I done to cause this plight, Come to me dear, hold me tight. Let me feel you and make you feel me, Let me love you and make you love me, Let me hold you in these open arms, Let me kiss you with these lonely lips. Yet I lay in the crumpled bed, The cold linen and the dirty sheets, It is for you, for whom I crave, It is for you, for whom I live. Come to me please, my darling, Be my soul saving grace, Come to me please, my dear Save me from this wretched place. Take each day as it comes, Consider each day as a flight, Try hard to succeed and fly, Surely then you will reach some height. But if by some chance you don’t, Remember that tomorrow will always come. Learn this well and learn this hard That today’s efforts will pay for tomorrow’s fun. A Crazy Monster, a.k.a Ski |
