The MIA As I open the box where the silver bangle lay I hold the silver close, and begin to Pray For the souls of those lost that enter my dreams For the ones that lived and can not forget the screams For the families left to go on without a goodbye For all those with the unanswered...."WHY" As my prayer ends I long so deep to know Just who you were Mr. James Klimo The name on the MIA bangle I've had for so long Though I don't know you....I know your song More than a name on a bracelet or a name on a wall A man of honor that should never have been there at all |

This one touches me, butterfly. Looking at a name of a dead soldier without knowing him but knowing that he was actually a live person who lived, loved and laughed like the rest of us and then gave his life for his country.....goosebumps are made of things like this. |

Thank you for adding this to the tribute. It is a very beautiful poem. You may be able to find his family on the net. If you want to. All my love, Jeffrey I lie awake in a world filled with dreams, but dreams can be so real when you don't know you're asleep |

Thank you all for reading, I received the bracelet from an OLD family friend, she stated that she received the bracelet from friends of hers, while in D.C. I found his name on the wall and made a rubbing, they looked up his name in one of the books they have there and found out that he was never found. Thank you for the thought Jeffrey...I'll have to try that!! Marge...right back atcha Balladeer...I'm flattered and it gives me goosebumps to hold it and realize that a soul belongs to the name, I feel that he is somehow not finished if that makes sense until I give it to whomever should really have it and Netswan...thank you |

The name on the MIA bangle I've had for so long Though I don't know you....I know your song More than a name on a bracelet or a name on a wall A man of honor that should never have been there at all ---------------- PERFECT...SIMPLY PERFECT!! you shine in this piece SS... good luck in your search. LY/JM Is it too much to find an answer, Is it too much to hold you close. Is it too much to find a reason, Is it too much to free my soul -- From self control ... And I know you're always waiting for me ... You take me far away, And I know you're holding me ... And it's better now ... ~vertical horizon~ |
