~Captivated~

I am your willing hostage ...
your touch completely captivates me.
Take me in body and soul,
I beg of you ... please ... show me ~no~ mercy.

I need not be rescued from your confines ...
I've no plea for clemency.
I am a contented prisoner,
lock me up inside the depths of you ...
and throw away the key.

Janet Marie

Is it too much to find an answer,
Is it too much to hold you close.
Is it too much to find a reason,
Is it too much to free my soul --
From self control ...
And I know you're always waiting for me ...
You take me far away,
And I know you're holding me ...
And it's better now ...

When you find the right one, your heart will forever be a prisoner. Or at least God willing.  Beautiful JM.

very nice. i esp. liked:

I am a contented prisoner,
lock me up inside the depths of you ...
and throw away the key.

i was thinking about the word "captivated"... does it have to do with being held captive? i have actually been thinking about that word a lot, because someone told me i was "captivating" and i still can't figure out what he meant. i know the word means sort of enchanting... but does it have to do with trapping someone enchantingly, sort of?

Janet,

I want to take you - lock you up
And throw away the key.
My heart will be your cellblock and
Your warden will be me.

You're guilty of the greatest crime -
You stole my heart and soul.
Now I have sentenced you to life
Within me as your role.

There will be no escape, my dear.
The walls are much too high.
The chains are much too strong to break
Except by your sweet sigh.

So be my prisoner for all time
To sadness...bid adieu
My hostage you will always be....
And I will be yours, too.

Sweet Balladeer,

I am SO complimented by this oh so lovely poetic reply,
Your poetice words do indeed--make me blush and sigh.

There is no need for chains or cells, nor a wardens key,
For I am held captive by poets and their sweet poetry.

A willing prisoner I am, for the gift of verse and rhyme...
I'll do my sentence with pleasure, contented to do my time.

Passions is my prision, no wish for escape will come from me,
Poetry is my keeper, from its beauty...
I hope to never be free.
jm

To get these towns behind me and I
Will gladly reap what we may sow--
I am there for you ...
and you're there for me ...
Are you waiting for

Woman and man
See me where I stand I am

(Sorry.. leave it to me to pervert a beautiful love poem.... guess I'm a little sexually deprived lately.... or something like that  )  AWESOME POEM!
