Forever In Your Heart

Oh, these tears my love,
streaming down my face,

Dripping drops of sorrow,
Fill this empty place,

Of lonliness, of sadness,
Longing to be close to thee,

Thy thought, an echo of your words,
Where are thou, My love?
Thy heart callest unto thee,

In search of you where ever,
You may be,
Such desire and longing stirs my soul,

I seek thee in the dark,
Your love a candle, a flame,
Guideing the way to your heart,

If I must but feel this pain,
A thousand daggers unto thy skin,
For every second of the beating of thy heart,

I feel the pulse of every thought,
Thoughts of you,devouring my mind,
I am overcome by your absence,

Where art thou my love?
As I walk into a deep forest of black,
Seeing Darkness all around,

For you cannot be found,
And for thee, I would tear thy heart from thy chest,
Lay it bare for you to see,

The beating love of every pulse,
Beating for you, Bleeding for you,
To prove the love I feel, is real,

I lay thy heart as a light,
For Thee to see through the night,
Coming as a boat to shore,

Thy heart shines with love as a lighthouse,
Glowing, beating across a misty moore,

Where art thou my love?
I have searched and not found,
To search high and low,

Will thy see this glowing heart beating only for thee?
Thy must, for it glows out across the seas,
Above the trees,
Calling out to thee,

Where art thou, my love?
Signal back to me...

If that is true love then I want in. What can I say but beautiful, they that there is a special somebody out there for everyone and if love is half as wonderful as described in your poem, then I hope I experience it at least once in my life. Tahnks for the lovely ray of poetic sunshine.

There is such pain and anguish in the search for that special someone. You've captured this beautifully with such yearning Romantic Heart. Wonderful poem.
