I looked behind the frame that held a portrait old and rare. And behind that frame I beheld another portrait there. Beneath the man there was a child with a bright and hopeful look below the tight-bound macho shroud; the youth the man forsook. A hundred years the manly face concealed the patient boy who longed to grace the human race with undiluted joy. Now says that child, without a sound "Let blissfulness abide. Please keep our portrait turned around, to show the lighter side." Finish your beer--There are sober people in China! [This message has been edited by PoohBear24 (edited 04-27-2000).] |
