I Cried Last Night... I cried last night Hadn't done it in years I was hoping you'd wash away This sadness, these tears I had to escape But had no where to go I pleaded to stop it And I should let you know That I cried last night.... I cried last night Tears of forgotten pain Nobody saw them They'd think me insane I didn't cry for you I didn't cry for me I think I cried for everyone But I wouldn't let them see That I cried last night..... I cried last night oh, that unbearable sting The burning on my cheeks Crying for everything Maybe next time I cry I can show you how Because no matter what happens You don't cry now..
