State of constant confusion!

Ladybug

Ladybug, oh, ladybug
Why do you fly away?
Only to return again
upon a summer's day

Can you give to me the wisdom
to see the world through your eyes?
Are you really my guardian angel
in a brilliant disguise?

You float upon the wind
as free as time itself
Always making your own way
never asking for any help

You bring to me a smile
when you land upon my sill
Always there to pick me up
like you know just how I feel

I haven't seen you in a while
I wonder where you've gone
I wish to you God's speed my friend
And please hurry home

This was written for a friend who's daughter left for college two thousand miles away.

How did you know?  My favorite t'shirt is a Giant Ladybug--words inscribed say:

  "Leaf Me Alone!"

Thanx doll, enjoyed it much....love to you.

A beautiful poem, Jeffrey. But your friend must remember that his daughter has gone off to better herself. Although they may miss her, it's for the best.

Oh, Jeffrey what a great poem and
dedication to your friend.

Jeffrey - very good, my friend!  "Ladybug" is also my Mom's nickname for my little sister, Mindy - well, guess I shouldn't say "little," as she is now married with two kids of her own...
I love you, man!
