Forever In Your Heart

0 posted 2000-04-24 09:52 PM

Oh my heart is stirred,
Memeories of that night occured,
From loves pandora box,

To fly beyond the clouds,
Hands entwined together,
Hearts now beating faster,

As we venture to unknown land,
This night I will forever remember,
On our destiny of sweet surrender,

A Paris night full of Romance,
Fragrant smells in a slumbers trance,
Dinner for two at the sidewalk cafe,

I speak french for you as we par-la-voufransa
Glittering stars, diamonds in your eyes,
Mystic, magic,
Inquisitive to your hearts disquise,

This moment, this time, forever is mine,
To love, to be free, To escape reality,

Into the night we explore, new beginnings
New lives, In search for more,

A toast, a glance,
Me smiling at you in dizzy romance,
My glow, I glisten,

For your heart does listen,
Upon every word that is heard,
This date, this fate,

Moment I am changed forever,
This night in Paris,
A dream My heart forever treasures!
I will forever Remember,
Us together....Nothing between us,

But a "Love In Paris!"

This would be a beautiful way to spend that special time...still, if only in dreams.

Wonderful job, RH....makes me yearn to be on that trans-Atlantic flight with ya.  *grin*

Well, I really don't speak a lot of French, but I do know enough to say that. . .

And it means that your poem is magnificent!!

OH PARIS!!!

A marvelous city of lights, and you picturise the romantic mood so well!!!

Great stuff!

I had been to Paris once and the city moved me so much that I had to come up with a poem myself. I did that and put it here yesterday for everyone to view.

Thanks for sharing your fond memories.

Regards,
sudhir

Take each day as it comes,
Consider each day as a flight,
Try hard to succeed and fly,
Surely then you will reach some height.

But if by some chance you don’t,
Remember that tomorrow will always come.
Learn this well and learn this hard
That today’s efforts will pay for tomorrow’s fun.

"Nothing between us but a love in Paris."
How enticing...I have been in Paris three times...my dream to go again..and again..and again...perhaps I should move there...that would be fun...James
