Even without you No greater love, could the world ever know Than that which is in my heart. Neither Romeo nor Juliet could ever Play the part. In "What Dreams May Come" he searched… Through heaven and hell for love so true. But, no matter the cost, the burden or struggle So much more I would go through. If you took movies, books and songs Not one has been written that really belongs; For no one could vision this love that I feel Even fiction can't see a love that's so real. Yes, I know this story is not going well And you do not feel what you felt when you fell; But take as a fact these words that I say My love for you grows with the dawn of each day. There is nothing that can happen be it hurt or pain Or even mother nature, with her clouds and her rain… That can alter these feelings I now see as true I'm still a better person because I love you. So whether or not you still care as you did Or even if our memories you continue to rid, I will not waste what you brought me to see What you brought into being by loving me. No, not even if someone else you have found Not even if you think of me now as a clown, Will ever suppress what your love gave birth to I will continue to love deeply and forever… Only You. Thank you all! I wish it had impressed the same effect on the person it was wriiten for. But it seems everything I do now is taken as "self-absorbed" or "dishonest". Your kind thoughts and wishes make it "bearable"! |
