Enthusiasm flickered < !signature-->enthusiasm hasn’t flickered much sense the daz of yor I think I’m going to dare the untold feat of performing an entire unrehearsed medley verbatim planning a surprise the band surprise the people even surprise myself craze common alternatives drifted in framing the floors in flashy sieved setups stragglers filtered through the two balconies I sit in an upper booth offstage loft high above the wondering eyes debating just late enough to work up a charge of expectation as if I needed it all that was needed now is the crowd and the fuse would be lit and I’d be off in a lash and they’d be part of it my lead vocalist’s cigarette quivers to a spiritual rogued rhythm journey of its own stuck between her two fingers she’s anxious looking over my guitar she wonders what I’ve got stashed up this satin sleeve of mine as a vocalist myself I was no slouch and one could never know what would happen when I opened my capacious mouth and I never cared or thought to think of guts or ruts or we would have never made it thus. I always find your writing interesting, Lucky...(looking forward to part2) I enjoyed the way you've written this scene. ~ Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |

Truly, you belong among some sort of higher level writers...songwriters maybe. I enjoy your writing and am not going to pretend to get some idden meaning out of it, because I like it that much. I am pleased to see the things you write with such ease and skill, Lucky. |

Thank you for the flickers, as they reveal bits and pieces and fragments of a life and of the mind Liz |
