In simple form, with patterned ease Without much practice at all You knocked me straight to my knees Kicked me over and I did fall. Head over heals, top over bottom I raced ever forward and down Past now gone and last forgotten Only falling now to the ground. Ass over head, front over back I traveled forward still Stopped not by the ground nor looking back Down as from a hill. Through the Earth unfair and unkind I fell forward, tossed and thrown As if from grace or falling blind No mercy was e'er I shown. And shortly before I reached the bottom I realized falling from above That I let myself be toppled It hurts falling in love. Knowlege tempered by wisdom...Wisdom tamed by youth. |

ya know what I always say... no pain...no gain *Smile* great work here...enjoyed the ryhme pattern. take care jm Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders And it makes me want to touch you there. And the light in your eyes makes me feel Like there's something much better out there Something kind... And I know someday I might be looking around Trying to find some purpose Well purpose it can't be that hard to find As long as I've got the wind... The wind and your love to carry me. vertical horizon |

ROFLMAO at you ! I loved this whole thing! I could see you toppling, and I couldn't stop laughing at how "gracefully" you did it! (Now pull your pants up a bit, I see er....your waistband!) Didn't want to say "plumber-butt" in here.... LOL |

Quite cleverly crafted, and oh so accurate...to fall in love can surely cause one grievous suffering. A risk, I am afraid, that coincides with the treasure~finding. Wonderful poem. ~ Claire |

It hurts to fall in love of this there is no doubt but if not this risk taken the love within would never get out. Oh yes, it's not the falling that hurts, it's hitting the ground! LOL Brush yourself off and get back in there, thats the only cure that's been invented. Enjoyed your poem RSE. |

Such true words, Robert.. I see you've been up that same mountain we all face... sometimes it just seems insurmountable, doesn't it? |

A very true poem indeed. The only thing worse then falling....is never, to have fallen. Marina |
