Nostalgic tears come haunting me, Inside the recollections of my mind. Time seems to be the tide of my misery, Where happiness and I no longer bind. Time moves too quickly for me to enjoy, The breathing moments fade too fast Like sorrow erasing the roots of joy. How I wish these moments to everlast! Moments in love and times in bliss When caressing the dreams and fears In Mother Nature's harmonious kiss, These kinds of moments quickly dissappear. To live every second of every day Is not long enough to embrace The grandeur in life that slips away, With only recollections to trace. "If you live to be a hundred, I want to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you." |

wonderful work Kim. I have to say you impress me daily with your poetry. Are you secretly taking literary classes behind my back? Love ya! "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34 |

LOL...I am not taking literary classes I just think my poetry is growing a little more everyday. I try to write a poem every two days or so to keep myself into gear. |

Oh my sweet "Cutie Putootie" it's just so hard to reply to a name such as yours. I'm sorry I should reply again as soon as I can find my seriousness. This is very good though... And too, I wanted you to know. I'll get over the name, it's just something my mother stuck in my head. Good write, I'll be watching. If I could paint a portrait, of this life in which I've led, and somehow sketch a story, of the visions in my head, I'd start out with a canvas, stretched tightly in a frame, and in the bottom corner, I'd leave room to sign my name. Thanks so much you too...I was called this name by my Grandmother for years and it just stuck in my mind when I was thinking of a SN. |

I enjoyed this very much, Cutie! I like the melancholy feel of it. I call my grandkids Cutie Putooties too! It must be a 'grandmother' thing! Denise |
