-- Dream Dates -- (4-24-00) Who is this girl with deep eyes of brown And flowing hair to match? A smile so bright could light my town Yet she's too far away to catch Her skin smooth as silk to me And not a blimish on her face It holds a natural beauty That no make-up could create Her lips they serenade me In such a slow seductive action They glisten with words of love Like two bodies in midnight's passion I walk with her down moonlit trails Almost every night it seems We reminisce of happy tales But it's only in my dreams Every night I dream and talk to her She seems to remember the last How is it that we dream together? Why must we wake so fast? Who is this girl with eyes so true Who courts me through our dreams? Do you think she could be you? ... gosh Daveyboy...I didnt know you dreamed about me LOL J/K J/K (well, I DO have brown eyes)  but Im a nightmare...not a dream LOL beautiful romantic poem... I'd say my poetic pal is smitten... from one hopeless romantic to another... Dream on -- dreams are all we got... later dave-gator jm Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders And it makes me want to touch you there. And the light in your eyes makes me feel Like there's something much better out there Something kind... And I know someday I might be looking around Trying to find some purpose Well purpose it can't be that hard to find As long as I've got the wind... Uh....(looking in mirror) I think I match this description pretty good! LOL Hey, are you talking to me?? Glad to see you made it back boy! How was the egg hunting? My hair has some blonde streaks in it though...  Don't know how THAT happened. hehe I'm gonna catch up to you one of these days you know, and when I do, I just may beat you up a little! LOL You better start running! Oh, this poem is called "dream date" - - couldn't be talking about me.  LOL |
