What a price for me was paid, And what a sacrifice was made. God, Himself, became my Lamb. That I might come, “just as I am”. What an awful name I wore- “Sinner”! but, my sin He bore… Through the love God had for me- He bore my sins upon the tree. “Glory”! To His lovely Name- He bore my sin, He bore my shame… In His own body, on the tree- My hope all rests on Calvary. The Devil told me, but he lied- No way could I be justified… But, Christ, Himself, died for my sin… And three days later rose again. He’ll never leave me, nor forsake- Nor fail to intercession make… This much I know, of this I’m sure- By His grace, my soul’s secure. |

Slinger~ You are blessed with the gift of telling it like no one I know. Truly inspirational. My thanks. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
