~*~
Jesus O'Lord
King Of Kings
Our  Saviour
here are you
tender mercy
on this cross
They crucified
you with their cruel and calloused ways. Lord of love
you forgive them what they do and ask for mercy on
their souls. Crying out meekly to your Father in your
anguish and pain. Asking for forgiveness for the men
who did punish
you for truths
of teaching of
your Father's
word. O'Lord
would that we
could have you
back among us
to again teach
us the ways in
which we need
to know so we
can enter into
the house with
your Father at
Heaven's gate

Your servant

I love the title, "tender mercy", I think we tend to forget about the gentle, passionate love that Jesus has for us. He only wants our surrender so that He can wrap us in His merciful arms. Your writing here is so inspirational and lovely. Ellie

Beautifully written, it is wonderful to know that he did not leave us comfortless, he sent the Holy Spirit to comfort us and teach us all things we need to know, and we always have God's word with us between the pages of the Bible if we only take time to read.

Marge, Your poem touched me deeply. Forgive me, for I do not know where the scripture is now, but Jesus tells his deciples, they walked with Him in those days, how much more blessed we are for our faith, yet have not seen Him and believe. Beautiful poem.  Marcy

Marcy~
It is true that by our faith we
know the ways that we should follow.
How blessed it would be if all could
know that faith on a personal level.
Thank you for your response.

Marge, this is beautifully done.  We must be on the same wavelength (again), i submitted something similar in #7.  Didn't think to put it in Spiritual.  However, since yours is so wonderful, i'm not worthy to share the same Forum with you.
Thanks for responding to mine. You are the princess of kindness (so bestowed by me).
(bowing as i retreat from your presence)

It was good, Marge, but I have to say, I am not a big fan of the form in which it is displayed.  It is as if the picture and idea of what is being said/written is of the most importance, when, in all seriousness, it should be the content.  I like the fact that you find happiness writing this, but displaying it as a cross brings more attention to other things, than to the actual writing.  As for the rest, it was indeed good.

Thank you Marge,
I needed that right now, for myself, but more so for another. Though I lost faith many years ago, I seek it out now in this time of loss and pain. You may have helped me find a little of it!

ESP~
So pleased it touched you.  It is a truth
from my heart sent to me in a vision in the night.  It is special to me.

Mariee~
Hon, it was originally posted in the Spiritual Journeys forum and I asked WhiteDove to move it here for Easter Sunday.
I'm so glad I did and glad you found it.
Thank you always for your kindness to my works.

BlindMan~
It would be my delight that it touched you and you share it with 'another'.
Your faith is never 'lost', my friend.
The love of the Lord is always where you can find it ... look within your heart.
My sincerest prayers are with you that He show you the way He would have you go.
Love to you this Easter Day.
