twisted homecoming so many smiles so many lies so many lonely nights she cries no one can hold her no one can try no one can save her from her own selfish lie break the window break the chain paint the cover you place on the stain no one will see it no one will care stand before the mirror and stare into the soul you see before you the horrifying shadow hates you too close your eyes and hide the tears open your mouth and release the fears the bitter taste the lingers there on the lips you heard were fair let the stench fill your nose for only one so twisted really knows hide the truth as best you can lie to yourself and say your a man say you did it in the name of love and hope the only one who sees is above shine a light so bright that all can see and you will find the joys that echo within me |

I'll tell you what it will take. it'll take me having about ten times more posts and a dozen more job titles with an ungodly amount of underlings to do my work for me so that I can sleep and eat all day long... well ok. maybe not. lol |

How dank and dark the bitter taste of deception. Well told, Desperado, looking forward to reading more. Corinne |

thanx you two. I'm the local ghost here. hehe I'm here today and gone the next couple of months it seems. I have seen so many come and go that sometimes it seems like I'm just taking time lapse photography of reality. it's like I see it all happening yet can't touch it till the moment is gone. c'est la vie. suck it up and drive on. take care and God bless. shine a light so bright that all can see and you will find the joys that echo within me |

I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. You have such a way with words. It's almost scary how good this is. All my love, Jefrey |

thanks all of you. this is perhaps one of the poems I like more than the rest I've written. Probably because it's truth is something I'm still grasping at. |
