While working outside in my garden, I was challenged to a dare, Mutant spiders were ganging up, Goosebumps......everywhere. I had these little seedlings, And I had to dig the holes, But these giant, furry creatures, Were even scaring off moles. Somehow I had to find courage, To at least chase them away, Yet nothing I did scared them, They were very determined to stay. I think it was their leader, Who started sidling over towards me, His legs, as big as drumsticks, And as fuzzy as they could be. I let out terrified scream, As his army did advance, The neighbors must have had a laugh, As I did my arachnid dance. When I was finally able to stop, They were running away from there, A few had gotten under my feet, And they saw that I didn't care. Another battle over, I'd won this latest match, But it won't be long they'll be back, When those eggs they left - hatch! I'll start planning my strategy now, Before those mutants return, I won't let them win this war, Someday this lesson they'll learn!!! |

Very cute... I can just see you doing your little dance too, and then standing proud as your rivals cowered in defeat. "Don't let your character get camoflaged with your environment. Find who you are and let it stay in its true colors." --Rachel Joy Scott |
