The image of you loving me was something very new I did not even recognize what it was giving you Your love and all you gave me through my fortress strong and tall started cracks and rumblings that made bricks begin to fall But, then in my blinded state you suffered pain and need I made your life a misery with my words and lack of deed In time you gave up every hope of entering my heart but, you could never ever know your effect on every part My heart now has a brand new look but one that is not better for it can only show you love in words put in a letter Your warm embrace and loving eyze that rescued me from obscurity are now closed up and turned away and seeking a new security If only I and all I am could find the words to say To open up your heart to me and this time let me stay There is no rarer or more fulfilling gift in this world that I could ever recieve than that which you gave birth in me you made my heart and soul believe for your love alone I now do pray and beg forgivness of and if you never let me in it’s still you I'll always love [This message has been edited by TheBlindMan (edited 04-22-2000).] |

I sense the pleading and sincerity in this...If this doesn't touch her heart, I don't know what will...I read your challenge, and I will in deed, do some pondering on the subject. This is a tough one though, but if something comes to me, I'll certainly share it with you, ok? Hugs to you, and be strong while she searches. I believe she'll find the most secure place, was right in your arms, where she started out. Beautiful read, sir. |

I enjoy how you've expressed yourself here! Welcome to Passions, please do keep sharing... ~ Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |

This is absolutely Beautiful TheBlindMan I tried to write a poem for you and posted in your other post ----but it was more a life's lesson than a poem. It was the best I could do on a moment's notice. You take care, netswan |

I never have been very good at dealing with hearts surrounded by walls. But I know I'd be touched if someone told me I'd help to make them fall. Hope she is too. Very heatfilled and beautifully written. "Don't let your character get camoflaged with your environment. Find who you are and let it stay in its true colors." --Rachel Joy Scott |
