Double  Digit  Dancing

You're  ten  today
you  lovely  lady
You're  double  digit  dancing
~
Ten  years
you've  waited  for  this  day
We  watched  your  smile  a  prancing
~
You  braved  ear  piercing
days  ago
We  felt  it  more  than  you
~
We  see  the  polish
on  your  nails
The  signs  of  lady  shining  through
~
We're  not  quite  sure
what  future  holds
We  trust  our  faith  be  true
~
Your  soul  we  treasured
before  your  birth
We've  loved  each  day  with  you

Thanks everyone for your kind words and birthday wishes ... minni poet has written several, but I can't seem to talk her into posting them ... I think it's peer preasure ... her friends might have influenced her ... she'll grow out of it
