Adorable – I’d have to say; Before my eyes I’ve seen today A miracle – a baby boy; Behold my heart so full of joy; You’d love those fingers, tiny toes… Blue searching eyes and button nose; Of course, so cute, that little dear You’d always want to hold him near; I can’t believe he’s here at last; So glad I am the waiting’s past… And let me be the first to say Just perfect he’s in ev’ry way; Oh, Mom and Dad are truly blest Yet one day soon they’ll need some rest! 9/15/99 For my grandson, Christian Michael. |
